I'm really happy with my still life shots. I was really lost about what to shoot for this because I wasn't sure about the lighting and background. I thought this would have good simplicity. However finding the proper lighting to make it not to bright and not to dark was difficult,(It was very sunny) I just kept playing with the white balance, ISO and trying to block out some of the light manually.

| This shot was taken on a fence post. I like the way the fence sticks out because of the bright background. I kind of wish the sky above the middle fence post had a bit more contrast instead of it being so white. |

| I love the way the white pearls in the bracelet stand out among the fence. I feel I am finally getting to understand how significant DOF is in a shot. I wish the charms stood out against the fence more and I feel some of the fence to be distracting but I could Photoshop it out. |
